Text Message Troubleshooting, Terms, & Privacy Policy

If you are having problems receiving text messages, please first log in to the infinite campus portal and verify that your contact information is correct. If it is not, please contact the school to have it changed. If it is correct and still not working, please perform the following:

Send a text that states "START" to 91201.

    a. If you do NOT get a response back, please contact your carrier and ask if premium messaging is blocked on the account or if there is any reason why you would not be able to receive text messages from 91201.

    b. If you receive a response, you will be asked to respond "YES" to confirm. After responding, you should then receive text messages. If not, contact the school for further support.

Ravenna Public Schools uses SMS for conversational, school-related communication between authorized school staff and parents/guardians of enrolled students. Messages are sent by teachers and other authorized school staff to parents/guardians/students who have provided a phone number to the school and indicated that the number can receive school text messages on the school's annual Census Form or new-student registration form. Messages may include attendance and tardiness notifications, reminders, requests to contact a teacher, scheduling parent-teacher conferences, forgotten items, school schedule reminders, and other group and individual student-related communication. Message volume varies based on school activities and individual student needs.

No mobile information will be shared, sold, or rented with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. By providing your phone number and confirming that you want to receive school texts, you agree to receive school-related text communications from Ravenna Public Schools and staff.
